Suffolk University’s annual Day of Giving unites our community to support every aspect of the student experience. Your generosity helps ensure that all Suffolk students have access to the resources, connections, and support they need to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. With some 6,400 students, it's natural that emergencies occur. For students without family resources, a crisis can derail their studies, force them to take time off, or create excessive stress. Suffolk graduate and undergraduate students who are experiencing extenuating circumstances, facing unexpected, unbudgeted expenses, and have no access to funding sources are eligible to apply for a Suffolk CARES Emergency Grant. Grants are awarded based on students’ urgent circumstances and their inability to secure any outside funding source. Examples of emergencies include loss of employment or parental financial support, inability to afford textbooks, a home or apartment fire, and family emergencies.
Every contribution is appreciated!
